The Marion Area Counseling Center, Inc., (MACC) is a comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment agency which provides a wide array of services including individual and group counseling, medication somatic, diagnostic assessment, psychological testing, evaluation, consultation, crisis intervention/emergency services, crisis telephone line, community support services, public information and education, social/recreational and supervised apartments.
The agency also has Medicaid contracts with the Board for Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) services and Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS). In addition to these traditional services, the agency also operates the following programs:
-Family Preservation Program
-Adolescent Sex Offender Treatment
-Services to Severely Behaviorally Handicapped Classrooms
-Foundations Recovery Program
-Juvenile Diversion Program
-Central Pharmacy
-Promoting Recovery and Employment Project (PREP)
